Here are some fabulous projects sent to me from one of our guest designers, Danielle Holsapple.

Love how Danielle used the KI Sheer here.

Pam Callaghan was kind enough to provide directions with her cute ornament frame, so here they are if you want to make your own:

1. I cut a large circle out of cardboard (for a study background) using my Coluzzle. Any circle cutter will work. Using that same circle cutter I cut out a red backing and then a slightly smaller striped circle.

2. To create the circle text, I used a text path from Two Peas: http://kraftgirlkits.com/.tools/atmail/current/parse.php?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.twopeasinabucket.com%2Fshop%2F54689%2F . I printed that out onto the kraft cardstock. 3. I cropped my photo with the circle cutter and mounted that to the background.

4. For the ribbon, I taped the ribbon to red tag and also the cardboard backing (I used the red tag mostly for decoration). I tied the ribbon at the top so it would be easy to attach to the Christmas tree.

5. Lastly, I glued on more of the embellishments to my ornament.

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!!! We had a great time at Disney World and are now ready to get in the holiday spirit! December Sneak Peek, a Giveaway and More...

Here is a little sneak of December's kit for you...I think I will probably say this every month, but this is my favorite kit so far! It is so festive:)My family and I are going to be in Disney World on Thanksgiving, so today we are making a mini-Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving makes me think of what I am thankful for, and this year I am thankful for so many things...my family and friends, especially my wonderful husband and amazing daughter. I am thankful for our house and that we are all healthy, and I am thankful for this hobby! I have met so many awesome people through scrapbooking, so today I want to thank all you girls and supporters of Kraft Girl Kits. Just leave me a comment telling me what you are thankful for and I will randomly pick someone Thursday (comments before Wednesday, 11:59 p.m. CST will count) to send this awesome card kit from Basic Grey to!

November Contest Update and more pages...

I decided to change the contest for November, I decided to be more specific and give you more of a challenge, you could say. It is going to be a recipe challenge, and here are the "ingredients":

1. Make at least 3 of these colors the predominant colors in your project: red, pink, green, and yellow.

2. Use chipboard on your project.

3. Use metal on your project.

You can add other things, but all of these need to be on here. You can make a card or a layout, and you can enter as many time as you wish! Lisa used painters tape to mask off a frame, then sprayed the mist directly on the kraft cardstock. When I was putting together the kit, I was thinking the mist for the chipboard frames, but I LOVE how she used the mist! How clever!

So I promised you some projects with scraps, and I had made this really cute little tag, but now I can't find it! I think it is in the mess on my scrap table somewhere. Anyways, here are a couple cards I made with the scraps from my kit.

I am in love with the new Prima Lollipop flowers, so I decided to replicate them on my own. I cut 5 circles using my circle cutter, distressed the edges and crumpled the circles up. Then I used leftover bling, rub-ons, and embroidery floss to add some finishing touches to the flower. Pretty easy!

Meet the last of our guest designers for October, Keandra Perkins-Willis...

My name is Keandra Perkins-Willis and I was born, raised, ran from and returned to New Orleans, Louisiana! I am the wife of John (who actually prays to God each night for continued creativity for his wife...how sweet is THAT?!?). I am the mother of six children: three from my womb (Jamani-17;Ahmad-12; and Keanohn-10 months) and three who came with my husband package (Aaron-21;John Jr.-20; and Engela-17). In my alternate life I'm a postal worker but my dream is to grow up to be Heidi Swapp!

Meet our second guest designer for October, Jakki Weddle.So I don't have any recent photos of me without my sunglasses...true Cali girl addicted to expensive shades ;) And can't go anywhere with out them. I'm a Mom to a beautiful 2 year old going on 4 (that's what she tells me) opinionated little girl. And married to a guy who lets me buy lots of expensive paper. My scrapbooks are my journals, a way to tell my story (or daughters story) . Photographs, paper, and pen. I was always the kid who toted around way too many crayons, markers, a sketchbook, and a camera. I got a degree in Fine Arts. My style is an accumulation of edgy traditionalism... nothing is sacred... but all is considered. And I love using scraps!!!

Meet 1 of our 3 fabulous guest designers, Cheryl Nelson. I am 47 years old and love life! I have five children, two married, one in college, and two still at home. I have THE CUTEST grandsons in the history of the world and I am expecting a granddaughter at the end of December. My husband and I have been married 26 years. I love to spend time with my family. My happiest days are when we are together just playing and hanging out. I also loooooove to read. Books have been my good friends for a very long time. I became an obsessive scrapbooker as soon as I picked up the hobby, three and a half years ago.

A little giveaway...

This is a special kit I made up to giveaway before our official launch...I will still be giving away one of the October kits, so if you don't win this one, don't fear because there will be another giveaway!!!!

I love fall, it is one of my favorite times of the year. Since we live in FL, we don't quite experience seasons like a lot of people do, but here are some signs that fall is coming around here: We live in a tourist area that is packed for the summer, so when the tourists go away...there's a sign; long sleeve clothes are arriving in the stores (I always love the fall color palettes!), the arrival of the pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks, and it starts to get dark earlier.
